Geoff Keighley last year was unable to give Hideo Kojima his award for Metal Gear Solid V due to restrictions placed by his fallout with Konami. Geoff opened up the show with a passionate speech about this years Industry Icon winner Hideo Kojima.
Another speech that touched the hearts and souls of everyone in the room was the acceptance speech for That Dragon, Cancer’s win of Games for impact Awards.
The Night also had great world premiere footage of where games are heading.
