So it’s been quite a while since Gamerations’ last post but we are trying to re-work how we get you guys content and we want to deliver the best stuff possible so that you guys can enjoy everything.
Without further adieu, Zombies:
I’m sure at this point you’ve seen this trailer and probably already played the Zombies map but if my opinion means anything, I have to say that this map is just as exciting as it’s trailer.
Zombies has been one hell of a ride and Der Eisendrache delivers in the most badass of ways. Set with the team of your original zombie hunters, Tank Dempsey and company are stranded at a German research facility and naturally those Germans are still messing with powers beyond their control.
I have to say that from star to finish this is one tough map. There are thing you need to do (360 no scope a weather veil) that make you wonder how a person can figure out some of the easter eggs let alone actually complete the whole map. It’s an impressive feat and it is a continuation of the complexity that was set forth by the zombies map “Origins” from Black Ops II.
Favorite New Addition: The bow. That’s right there’s a bow and arrow weapon in this one. The bow is called “Wrath of the Ancients” and can be upgraded to four different power types. They are electric, fire, spirit and void. Each bow packs it’s own unique punch and in order to complete the easter egg you need to collect all four bows. I personally like the Spirit bow. I think it has excellent clearing power for those pesky hordes.
Problem with this map: I don’t like that the map is a bit glitchy. I have encountered issues where the steps that need to be taken to complete the bows aren’t registering when I do it and that leads to shoot my arrows until I run out hoping that one finally works. Maybe at the time of writing this Call of Duty is very aware that the issue exists and they are fixing it right now.
This is a great map and if you love Zombies like I do, it is worth the purchase.
