ABSOLVER Looks F**ing Awesome!

If you haven’t seen this take one minute and twelve seconds to watch it.

The game is coming from rookie Devs Sloclap. I use ‘Rookie’ in terms that they haven’t released a console title as Sloclap but the team is experienced with quite a few devs coming from the Ubisoft Paris team. I think that Absolver will be a very fresh online melee action game and the fact that there are no guns is surprisingly nice. I love guns just as much as the next guy but I do get sick of blasting my enemies so beat them bloody with a few fists is always a good alternative. I also like that this game reminds me of Injustice Mobile, Mortal Kombat, and Avatar the Last Airbender. A strangely fun combination.

The creative lead Pierre de Margerie says in an interview with The Verge, “We think the world would be a much better place if there were no guns,” He goes on to say, “Then we could finally focus on important things, like sword fighting and how to kill a man with one punch.” Wise words and I gotta say Absolver has me very interested.

It is also cool that Absolver will let the players build up their characters to be able to fight one another online and create a team that runs through dungeons together which could also be a tremendous amount of fun for your squad.

Another thing that is great about Absolver is just how beautiful the game looks. I mean the landscapes, the characters, the fluidity of the movement they all can do is remarkable and it has me jazzed up to see what else they really have in store. I am most curious about Absolver’s cast of characters you can play as when you start or if you make your own unique character and go from there. Either way Absolver looks fun and is set to release on consoles and PC sometime in 2017.

Until we give it 5 out of 5 pieces of fresh fruit.
